Hello again, it’s been awhile since I have written last so I thought I would jump back on and give an update about what I have been up to.
I have been extremely busy putting in extra hours at my tow truck job so that I can start saving money to invest in my business. When not working, all I have really been doing is studying the tow truck business and beginning the stages of learning each and every thing that I can get my hands on. It’s as though this stuff has consumed me and there is nothing else that I really want to do but move forward with my business.
“Think and Grow Rich” has changed my life and I have read it two more times since last writing on here. I have moved on to reading similar books in order to strengthen my mindset and power it up to move forward quickly in this business. If anyone reading this is going through a point in their lives where they are ready to make a change, I highly suggest reading these types of books. Without them, I don’t think I would even still be interested in pursuing a business of my own. That shit takes so much hard work and time and most people would take one look at the idea and run. But I’m different. I’m Jimmy Burns and I am destined to make something of myself and help other people benefit along the way.
I mentioned in my last post that one of my good friends suggested that I start my own business. Since I’m so passionate about it and really good at fixing automobiles, I decided to take my friends advice and start my own business. I mean, what the heck, right? I’m 26 years old and have always known that I don’t want to work for someone else for the rest of my life. And if I don’t do something about that then when will I? This post will be the first in my “auto thoughts” series where I discuss something auto related that is one my mind and relevant to 1400 auto.
Hello and if you aren’t sure by now, my names Jimmy Burns and I am the author and founder of this little number I like to call my blog.
I have decided to take up blogging because of my love of auto mechanics, but also because it was suggested to me by a good buddy of mine that owns a tow truck company of his own. He said to me “Jimmy, you need to start a business of your own, and a blog or website is a good place to start because it can really show your knowledge of your industry and in turn, make you look like an expert. I mean, who wouldn’t want that, right? I would have been crazy not to listen to him.
